Well, as usual, I got out for my walk this morning and headed for the close-by Erickson Park in Ledyard. Unlike yesterday, I was able to catch Providence & Worcester train NR-2 heading south as I wrapped up my walk. The timing worked out so that I was able to get a nice brisk walk […]

Well, it looks like the stinky twins finally got scrapped over the weekend. My guess is it happened either on Friday or Saturday. Either way, there’s not much left of them. I just wish I caught them being scrapped – that would have made a pretty neat photo essay. Oh, well, you can’t win ’em […]
Headed out at my usual time this morning to take my walk, and catch Providence & Worcester train NR-2 heading south in Ledyard. The timing worked out great so I could get a good walk in, then shoot the train rolling south along Mill Cove under a gorgeous blue sky.
I got a nice little package in the mail last week from RI with a DVD in it – Gary of GZB Video Productions sent me a copy of P&W Action – Volume XI to check out. I finally got to watching it on Monday night during the commercial breaks of one of my favorite […]
Memorial Day – more than just a day off from work. A day to remember those who sacraficed for the rest of us to enjoy life, liberty and the persuit of happiness. We went to the Lebanon, CT parade on Saturday morning, and if all goes well, we’ll be going to the Mancheser, CT parade […]
Two times in one day – not too bad. Got lucky this afternoon, and caught Providence & Worcester train NR-2 in New London as I was leaving work. Pretty good way to finish off the workday, and welcome in the long holiday weekend.
I let the domain registration for railfanzone.com, my original railfan site, lapse and one of those domain name extortion companies (aka a holding company) scoffed it up out from under me. Oh, well, my bad but unfortunatley it’s gone. If I get a chance, I’ll put it up as a subdomain here on nanosphoto.com, but […]
I’m sure you’re asking yourselves “What on earth is he talking about now?” Well, read on and you’ll get your answer. I headed to Erickson Park in Ledyard, CT again for my walk this morning, and did end up bagging NR-2 rolling southbound on this rather warm Friday morning before the long Memorial Day weekend. […]
Another day of gorgeous weather down on the Connecticut shore – perfect for my daily walk. Today, I went for Erickson Park in Ledyard again, of course with the aim of shooting Providence & Worcester train NR-2 along the walk.
