PLAIN Diamond = Red Ribbon 1

Well, at the Windham Photography Club meeting last night, I got a little bonus. I submitted a print of the Plainfield, CT Providence & Worcester diamond (see below) into one of the NECCC (New England Camera Club Council) interclub print competitions. It ended up getting a 2nd place ribbon! Also, since it placed, I can now enter it into the annual Print of the Year competition this spring.

Here’s the image as it was printed and entered. It ended up getting 23 out of 30 points, and I titled it “Devil’s Diamond”.

As a side note and reminder that this diamond is no longer there. The P&W removed it a couple months back. Glad I got a shot of it before it was taken out. A bit of history there too.
