On the evening of September 11, 2010 all four of us headed out for an evening of food, beer (only for Jill & I) and music. A friend of ours’ band – The Brothers Donovan – was playing at Fred’s Brick House in Willimantic. Since it’s an all-ages restaurant, and the fact that the last [...] Last Friday, in addition to leaving early for a dentist appointment (and shooting P&W NR-2), Jill & I had a chance to actually go out for the evening! We had made last minute plans with Jill’s sister, and a friend of hers from work to go check out a band at the Hartford Road Cafe [...] Last night Jill & I had a rare night out – the kids were at a sleepover at their cousin’s house, and we took advantage of that and headed into Arch Street Tavern in Hartford to check out the reunion show of a friend’s band – The Screwdrivers. So here’s something a little different – [...] Yeah, the year isn’t officially over yet, but I figured I should do this now…here’s my favorite images from 2007. They may not be the best, but they’re some of my favorites I’ve committed to film or CMOS over the past year. They’re roughly in chronological order from the beginning of the year to now. [...] Finally slogged through the 1,700 or so images I took way back on November 9th at Toad’s Place in New Haven. It was a benefit show that featured old friends Mighty Purple and Gargantua Soul, along with the Seth Adam Band, who also had a guest vocalist – Christine Ohlman. [...] I finally got through all 1500+ images I took at the Lebanon Fair this past weekend. Yep, that’s not a typo – I took over one thousand five hundred photos over 3 days of the fair!
